Have you ever walked into a room and felt uncomfortable, like the energy was thick or something feels off? Or have you left a conversation feeling drained, as if you just ran a marathon?

 

Your energy field, or aura, interacts with the energy around you. Without good protection, it’s like leaving your Wi-Fi open for anyone to use.

 

This is where psychic protection comes in. It helps you prevent energy drains, feelings of being overwhelmed, and emotional exhaustion. Whether you are sensitive to others’ feelings or just want to feel more balanced, psychic protection helps you manage your energy.

 

Think of it as a security system for your energy. Just like you wouldn’t leave your front door unlocked, you shouldn’t keep your energy field unguarded. Psychic protection helps you stay grounded and in control of your energy, making you feel lighter and clearer.

If you know someone who drains your energy, use a mirror shield. Visualize a dome of mirrors around you, facing outward. Imagine these mirrors reflecting all negative energy back to where it came from. Repeat: "Only love can reach me; all negativity is reflected away."

 

Tip 3: The Crystal Shield 

Crystals can help protect you. A great choice is Black Tourmaline. It acts like an energetic bodyguard, keeping your energy high and blocking negativity. You can wear it, keep it in your pocket, or place it by your front door.

 

TIP 6: Barefoot Grounding (Earthing)

 

The Earth can absorb excess energy and help you feel balanced. This is one of the quickest and easiest ways to ground yourself.

 

Find a natural surface like grass, soil, sand, or stone. Take off your shoes and let your bare feet touch the ground. Close your eyes and imagine roots growing from your feet deep into the Earth. Breathe deeply and feel the Earth’s energy rising to ground and balance you.

 

TIP 7: Grounding with Crystals

 

Some crystals can help you stay centered and protected.

- Black Tourmaline: Absorbs negative energy and keeps you balanced.

- Hematite: Creates a strong protective shield around your aura.

- Smoky Quartz: Grounds excess energy and promotes emotional clarity.

- Red Jasper: Connects you to Earth’s energy and strengthens your root chakra.


 When to Use: Carry it in your pocket, wear it as jewelry, or keep it under your pillow.

 

TIP 8: Smudging with Sage or Palo Santo

 

Smudging is an ancient practice that uses herbs to cleanse energy. Burning sage or palo santo releases smoke that removes negative energy and makes room for light and clarity.

For a Shower:

- As the water washes away, visualize stress and negativity rinsing off.

Sound can help break up stagnant energy. Chimes, bells, singing bowls, and clapping can clear negativity quickly.

Using an energy shift mist can help keep your aura clean and protect your energy. Use it before and after sessions or around people and places that may drain you.

 

Keep a spray in your car or at your front door to cleanse the day’s energy when you come home. This mist helps clear negative energy left after interactions, promoting a calm environment.

 

TIP 12: Energy Bubble

 

To protect my energy during this work, I imagine a bubble (in any colour) around my aura. Visualise it covering you from head to toe. I also ask for protection from my guides and angels, and you can do this too.

 

TIP 13: Setting Boundaries

 

We can’t always choose who we meet, and some people may be draining or negative. However, we can manage our own energy. Set healthy boundaries with those around you.
